In
a projects infancy we strive to establish who the projects stakeholders are, what roles and responsibilities they have and
what their needs and expectations are. The depth of inquiry varies and is driven by design/build, a build only project, the
occupant’s needs and scope. We utilize this information to develop a project specific organizational chart and responsibility
matrix to organize and streamline communications and responsibilities. The proactive use of the responsibility matrix helps
ensure proper interface with the project stakeholders. We promote “compromise without sacrifice” and try to meet
all obligations with an overall best value approach.
Access
utilizes a “high tech” hands on approach to project management utilizing electronic scheduling, daily reports,
and digital photo documentation coupled with accurate payroll and accounting systems to effectively track and communicate
the progress of our projects. We strive to keep continuity from “cradle to grave” assigning a project manager
and project superintendent that will stay with the project for its duration.
Design/build
projects are quickly and economically accomplished with our pool of architectural and engineering partners and in house AutoCAD
and plotting capabilities.
We
strive to give our clients the most “bang for the buck” as design team leader by ensuring we generate adequate
documents to budget, estimate, build, inspect, document and promote end user satisfaction without the time loss RFI modifications
and confusion of having a separate design and build team. We strive to eliminate unforeseen conditions, end user dissatisfaction
and budget overruns by analyzing existing conditions, interviewing and observing the end user and budgeting costs during the
design process. This allows us to suggest and explore cost saving alternatives and keep projects on time and in budget with
a high end user satisfaction rating.
